Welcome to the 7600 Series of  Creative Living

We start our new series of "Creative Living" shows in September, and the series will continue until March, 2019.   I appreciate you making “Creative Living” a part of your television viewing.

Our newest booklet is titled "The 7600 Series" and is now available on this website.  Just go to the booklet section, and you can download all or any part of it.   I hope you will enjoy it.  Several of our past booklets are also available for you to download free of charge.  You do need Adobe Reader loaded on your computer in order to download any of the files, and this is a free download from adobe.com if you don't already have the reader on your computer.  If you ever have suggestions for topics and/or guests, please e-mail me.  I'm always looking for new ideas. Again, thanks so much for watching “Creative Living.”

DON’T FORGET: If you haven’t already subscribed for our e-Newsletter, you can do so now.  Sign up HERE.  It is a shorter version of our online booklets, and will provide up-to-date information that you will find interesting.  All you have to do is send me your e-mail address, and I’ll set up your FREE subscription.  Send it to me at: sheryl.borden@enmu.edu.  I also welcome input from any of you who want to contribute something worthwhile to our e-Newsletter.  Read a recent Creative Living newsletter.

Carol Fenster is well known for her expertise in the area of gluten-free cooking.  She's written numerous cookbooks through the years, and her latest one is on "Gluten-free Cooking for Two."  She's shared several recipes with us and I hope you'll try them - whether you are gluten-intolerant or not.  They are delicious.

CORNBREAD

Sarah Ryan is a registered dietitian nutritionist with DairyMax and she taped several segments that demonstrated how good dairy products are for you.  I think you'll enjoy the following recipes.

Chef Hillori Hansen taped two segments when she was in Portales.  One was on Easy Ways to "Kick Up" Nutrition in your meals, and the other one was on Heart-Healthy Cooking.  Both of these recipes were enjoyed by our crew and staff - and I hope you'll enjoy them, too!

K C Cornwell started G-Free Foodie and now works with several gluten-free companies to help market and provide delicious food products to those who are celiacs, gluten-intolerant or just like to eat gluten-free.

Karla Stockli (second photo) and Kris Caputo (top photo) came to Portales to tape lots of recipes featuring California figs. They also discussed how figs have become an important ingredient for food bloggers because of their versatility. I hope you'll enjoy trying some of the recipes they shared with us.
