America's favorite home improvement series, the Emmy Award-winning THIS OLD HOUSE, airs in the first half of the hour. In the second half-hour, ASK THIS OLD HOUSE, host Kevin O'Connor, general contractor Tom Silva, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey and landscape contractor Roger Cook address specific, viewer-driven home maintenance and repair questions.

Bedford Project
In the small New England town of Bedford, Massachusetts, stands a picturesque Colonial post-and-beam house that dates back to the early 1700s. The charming late-First Period/Early Georgian, known to many as the Nathaniel Page Homestead, is the next project for the Emmy®-winning PBS home improvement series THIS OLD HOUSE®. THIS OLD HOUSE’steam of experts will renovate the 18th-century house by constructing two modest additions, appropriate to the style and period-feel of the home, while making necessary updates and repairs that will add functionality and improve the structure and safety of the home for the owners for years to come.

Barrington Project
The Emmy® Award-winning THIS OLD HOUSE® has selected a humble beach-front property in Rhode Island for its next renovation project. Located on Barrington Beach, about 10 miles from the state capital of Providence, this 1925 modified Cape boasts spectacular views of scenic Narragansett Bay. Due to the close proximity of the house to the water, THIS OLD HOUSE will be working closely with the local builder to make sure appropriate codes are met so that the home will be protected from the elements, including storm winds and wind-driven rain. With the help of the THIS OLD HOUSE team and local tradespeople, this simple beach house will be transformed into a stunning year-round home.
