All These Blues with Roger Gatchet

Produced locally each week in the KENW studios on the campus of Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico, All These Blues covers a wide variety of music anchored in one of America's true original art forms: the blues. Each week features both traditional acoustic blues as well as contemporary electric blues. From the archival recordings housed in the Library of Congress to the urban grit of Chicago's blues scene, from the jump-blues sound of the West Coast to the guitar slingers of Texas, listeners can expect to hear many shades of blue each week.

All These Blues is hosted by Roger Gatchet, an Assistant Professor of Communication at Eastern New Mexico University and an avid blues fan and harmonica player. Roger Gatchet has been hosting blues radio programs at stations in California, Texas, and southern Spain for nearly fifteen years, and is a contributing writer for Living Blues magazine. He has shared the stage with noted harmonica masters such as James Cotton, Rod Piazza, Mark Hummel, James Harman, Paul DeLay, and Greg Izor, and opened a B.B. King concert in 2003 with the Guy Budd Band. He currently resides in Portales where he performs regularly with the Blackwater Draw Boys.
