This week on Great Arts at Eastern, Jeff Gentry talks with Edwina Gower, a member of the Portales Creative Group and supporter of the Fine Arts at Eastern.
Edwina likes attending creative events, and she has enjoyed supporting others in those endeavors.
Edwina's greatest knowledge in the artistic field is in the area of theater which she gained through osmosis from her playwright husband Jeffery. She has seen a lot of theatre in her life including seeing a Chicago performance of Hamilton.
Edwina talks about the upcoming season of arts: One of the programs that she happy that will be On The Verge Written by Eric Overmeyer Directed by Anne Beck at the ENMU University Theatre Center. Another event is the First Amendment Conference Coordinated by Janet Birkey. One of the others Edwina is happy to see is the Exhibition Circling the Horizon by Scott Golem, faculty designer on September 23rd.
