Susan Tatum of Clovis was appointed to the ENMU Board of Regents in March 2015. An alumna of the University, Mrs. Tatum is a small business owner and former educator. She founded the Clovis Counseling Center in 1988, where she continues to practice as a professional clinical counselor and specializes in individual and family therapy. Mrs. Tatum was a psychology instructor, academic advisor, and financial aid director at Clovis Community College prior to opening her practice. She is also a former special education teacher for Oklahoma City Public Schools and the Cerebral Palsy Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is an active member of PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) which supports higher education for women and funds scholarships for women. Mrs. Tatum holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Eastern New Mexico University.

Nicole Beemsterboer is the Senior Producer of Investigations at NPR, where she oversees the conceptualization, development, and execution of the network's investigative reporting across all platforms and coordinates the team's internal and external news partnerships.

Trish Ruiz, a resident of Hobbs, New Mexico, attended ENMU before completing her bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of the Southwest. She is a counselor at Hobbs High School and a former adjunct professor at the University of the Southwest. She served as the co-chair of the Workforce Solutions, Workman's Compensation, and the State Personnel Office committees for Governor Lujan Grisham's transition team.

A curious Columbia, Mo. native, Bram Sable-Smith has documented mbira musicians in Zimbabwe, mining protests in Chile, and the St. Louis airport's tumultuous relationship with the Chinese cargo business. His reporting from Ferguson, Mo. was part of a KBIA documentary honored by the Missouri Broadcasters Association and winner of a national Edward R. Murrow Award. He comes to KBIA most recently from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine.
